Episode 03: The Baoery. Williamsburg, Brooklyn, New York.

This episode of 1 Minute Meal is my first time lapse production! To tell the story, I spent an entire workday with The Baoery, a Brooklyn-based pop-up restaurant specializing in, well, bao.
There’s some Taiwanese influence in the mix, to be sure. But with recipes ranging from slow-cooked Chinese sausage to deep-fried tofu, it’s a particularly playful set of steamed buns—the perfect tenant for Williamsburg’s Nha Toi, where The Baoery has been popping up for the past few months.
Click here to watch the video on Serious Eats, and please subscribe to the 1 Minute Meal Vimeo Channel to see the full collection of videos as it grows. If you want to help The Baoery celebrate their 1st anniversary, please keep tabs on the pop-up’s Facebook page for details on the forthcoming party!
